Get on a bus, arrive some other neighbourhood far from home, regret it, then walk for a bit; what are you seeing?

Something about your misery, but also beautiful: it’s been done before, people call it “street photography”. But yours aren’t that, you call them “photographs that were taken in the streets”. What’s the difference?

You have to admit, though: these are documents of İstanbul. And that’s fine.

It’s also mostly about your sense of humour, really: bad street photographs are pretty much like banal jokes about life. There must be a way to avoid that, and there should be a way to make it a story — with a beginning and an end.

Vandalise a taxi, fight a security guard, regret it, then stop walking for a bit; what are you missing?
